Keith Cochran
singer, songwriter, entertainer, performer!
Keith Cochran delivers his music and song
with the fiery passion of a fire-and-brimstone
circuit preacher! His songs and music come
from the deep soul through the heart of the
man. He ain’t loud, don’t have to be; when you
hear him you feel what he does, Cochran is a
deep emotional experience!

Keith Cochran was the buzz on the Row from those who know great talent and
here in part is what they are saying:  Multi-Grammy-winning engineer/producer
(43 number one hits) Tom Pick said, “He has a voice, not to the people, but for
the people; the only one out there today that comes close to Cochran is
Chesney!”  Robert K. Oermann (Music Row Magazine, February 2004) said about
Keith Cochran and his cut of “Long Black Veil,”  “Lefty Frizzell, you ain’t. But
when you’ve got ahold of one of the greatest country songs ever written, it doesn’
t really matter. He takes it slowly and deliberately, making you hang on every
line. As you should.”  Kirk Boyer, Director, A&R, Lyric Street Records, said in
part, “Keith possesses an emotional, confident and pleasing traditional Country
vocal style. Furthermore, Keith delivers his material with passion, honesty and
conviction.”  The legendary leader of the Nashville Brass, Danny Davis, said, “I
like the boy!”  Bonnie Sugarman, VP, APA Nashville, “I like Keith, he’s good!”
“Keith has a big following, a lot of young women are after him; he’s good, I like
working with him!”  Carrie Moore-Reed, Third Coast Talent.

Keith Cochran is something to buzz about;  his moral fiber is tightly wound of
country pride, family values and pure unadulterated honor. He writes about life
things, mostly simple stories... “Granny’s Eyes,” is about Keith’s growing-up
relationship with his Grandmother. “I Can’t Wait To Be Like That Man”, how he
saw his Grandfather and the respect he has for him... “Good Mornin’ ”, about a
love in his life... “A Place To Drink”, not going into detail--but he lived it.

Keith was asked, “How do you hear and describe your music?”  He answered very
quickly and quietly...“I have four words:  Love, Life, Family, Fun.  I write Love,
Life and Family into my music.  When I sing someone else’s songs I sing about
Love, Life and Family. My songs are taken from the 'reals' of life, everyday
things that everyone can relate with. My music and songs are not intended to
take you away from your problems, but to put you in a frame of mind to help you
deal more clearly with them. There is no way to fix or solve a problem by hiding it
away. So let’s talk about... no, let’s sing about them; there is no better way to
express love than to say it, sing it and to show it out loud!  Think about this...
when it comes to the heart you cannot get closer than family. Family is where
morals, respect, anger, trust and just plain ole life get started. Every day on the
green side of the grass is fun to me, I make it a point to try and learn something
new and usable everyday. Sometimes the new and usable comes from the school
of hard knocks; I take them, smile and sometimes laugh, most of all I learn.
Love, Life, Family and Fun...that’s me, that’s what I write and that’s what I sing.
THE FUN IS JUST DOING WHAT I DO!”
